Mike House has been a professional fundraiser for over 30 years, with experience in healthcare, education, social services and arts & culture sectors. Most recently, Mike served as President and CEO of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, leading a team that generated over $45M a year, over $300M and 114,000 supporters. During his 11 years, Mike was also successful in developing integrated advocacy campaigns to effectively lobby provincial governments for capital dollar investments.
Mike's non-profit leadership expertise includes these areas: annual giving, sponsorships, third party fundraising, events, major gifts, planned gifts, online giving, lotteries and gaming, door to door, and national partnerships.
Mike was recognized internationally by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as the Network Person of the year in 2019 among 170 Children’s hospitals in North America. In 2022, Mike was recognized by YPO, a global leadership community of extraordinary chief executives, as the Global Impact Award Honoree representing Canada, and he recently received the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2022.
